The 2011 Section Conclave will be hosted by TKäen DoD Lodge, Five Rivers Council at Camp Gorton in Dundee, New York from August 19-21, 2011. Information is available online at http://ne3a.org/conclave.
Every year, more than one hundred Arrowmen from all across section gather for a weekend of fun, fellowship, training and competition. The Section Conclave, which runs from Friday evening to Sunday morning, is the largest Order of the Arrow event outside of a National Order of the Arrow Conference. The 2011 Section Conclave will feature inter-lodge competitions, training, evening opening and theme shows, recreational activities such as swimming and canoe swamping, ultimate frisbee and more. The NE-3A Section Conclave operates under the leadership of Section Chief with the consultation of his adviser. Each year the Section Conclave is hosted by a different lodge within the Section, who appoints a Conclave Coordinator and adult Conclave Adviser to facilitate the physical arrangements. The Council of Chiefs, the lodge chiefs, oversee the planning of the section conclave.
