ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Wolf & Bear
Swimming, archery, BB gun, bicycle, fishing, craft, sports, and more activities in Cub Scout Handbook.*

Webelo 1 & 2
Same belt loops as Wolf and Bear, plus, the Aquanaut , Readyman, Showman, Forestry, and Nature.

Webelos 2
Work on many of the same requirements, plus participate in special Boy Scout

 

*IMPORTANT: BB gun belt loop and pins can only be earned at the Council sponsored camps/activity.

All Scouts can earn the Outdoor Activity Award, and Scouts and Leaders can earn the Kingsley Segment fun patch while in camp. Although these are not official BSA patches they make for a great collecting item.

FEES
Fees are waived for 2 Adult Leaders with 8+ paid Scouts per Pack.  All fees increase $10 after May 1st.

Mom & Me Campout and Family Camps at Camp Kingsley are great opportunities to experience resident camp for a shorter period of time.  Scouts (ages 5-10 or K to 5th grade in the Fall) can work on belt loops and pins.  These events are a full day with the option to camp overnight.

Mom & Me Campout: 

 

This event is for Moms (or female guardians) and their Cub Scouts only. Others, who would like to attend, will be asked to help run the camp so that moms and their sons can enjoy their time together.

Family Camp:

 

This event is open to Scouts and their entire family, including brothers and sisters who are not necessarily in Scouting.

 

Dates: June 22- June 23 and October 5 - 6
Fee: $15/person
